Dr Idowu Eferakeya is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Accounting, at Dennis Osadebay University, Anwai-Asaba. He holds the following qualifications: B.Sc in Accounting, M.Sc in Banking & Finance, MBF, Ph.D in Accounting. He attended the University of Portharcourt, PortHarcout, Delta State University, Abraka, and Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Igbariam. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria. He is currently the Director of the Pre-Degree Programme, Head of Department, Accounting, Banking and Finance, and Sub-Dean, Faculty of Management and Social Sciences, at Dennis Osadebay University. He has 41 published articles to his credit in local, national, and international reputable academic journals. Over the years, he has been an ICAN lead assessor in the strategic financial management subject. His areas of interest are cost accounting, management accounting, and strategic financial management.
