Lucky Oghenetega URHIEWHU, Ph.D. (CLN, CMLN) is a Librarian/Lecturer and currently Head of the Electronic Division, and he also teaches in the Department of Library and Information Science at Dennis Osadebay University, Asaba, Delta State. He obtained his Ph.D. in Library and Information Science at Imo State University, Owerri. Master's degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS) from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. He holds a Bachelor's in Library Science (BLS) and Diploma in Library Science (DLS), both from Delta State University, Abraka. He also has a Certificate in computer software and networking from Lagos. He is a Certified Librarian of Nigeria; a Certified Medical Librarian of Nigeria and He is a Fellow of the Carnegie Next-Generation Librarians' Professional Development Programme in Sub-Saharan Africa, at the University of Pretoria, South Africa.
His major area of research interest is Infopreneurship, Digital Information Resources Retrieval Skills, Special User Studies, Publishing, and Medical Librarianship. He is widely published in local and international journals, and has presented papers at conferences and seminar workshops. He is an editorial/ reviewer member of about four international and local journals in the Library and Information Science profession. He also contributed chapters to books, co-edited textbooks, and co-authored a textbook, he is a bookbinder, back-of-book Indexer and Social Media Analyst. Previously, he was the Head of the Readers’ Services Department at the University of Medical Sciences, Library Ondo City, Ondo State, Nigeria; he lectured at the Department of Library and Information Science, Madonna University Okija, Anambra State, Nigeria; He had a brief stint with Taraba State University, Library Jalingo, Taraba State, Nigeria as a visiting Librarian and he was a Graduate Librarian (NYSC) at the Adekunle Ajasins University Library Akungba, Ondo State, Nigeria.
