Mba-Otike M.N.C. is a highly resourceful and proactive geologist with an exceptional blend of academic excellence, professional expertise, and leadership experience. He holds a doctoral degree in Sedimentology and Reservoir Geology from the University of Port Harcourt. Prior to this, he earned a master's degree in Petroleum Geology and Sedimentology from the University of Ibadan and a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Delta State University. These achievements underscore his robust academic foundation and unwavering commitment to advancing geological sciences. Michael possesses outstanding interpersonal, personnel management, and communication skills, which have been integral to his success in academia and the professional world. With a proven track record of university lecturing, he skillfully combines the rigor of teaching with hands-on industry experience as a geologist. Beyond his geological expertise, Michael has also demonstrated proficiency in health, safety, and environmental (HSE) management, as well as general administration, further showcasing his versatility and multifaceted skill set. Currently, Michael serves as the Sports and Welfare Director (pioneer elected) of the Senior Staff Club at Dennis Osadebay University. In this capacity, he has been instrumental in promoting staff engagement, fostering a sense of community, and organizing sports and welfare activities. His leadership in this role reflects his dedication to holistic development, well-being, and collaboration among his colleagues. As an enthusiastic team player and an effective leader, Michael has participated in numerous collaborative and pioneering projects.
