Dr Okorhi Johnson Ojiyovwi

Dr. Johnson Ojiyovwi OKORHI is the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Environmental Sciences, and former Head, Environmental Management & Toxicology Department at Dennis Osadebay University (DOU), Anwai-Asaba, Nigeria. He oversees the Directorate at the Research, Creativity & Innovation Centre (RCIC). His research areas include: waste management, e-waste, circular economy, environmental management, renewable energy, transformative innovation, 4IR technologies, among others. His expertise in technology management paved opportunities for him to serve as a lecturer, researcher, facilitator and supervisor in academic programme at the DOU, University of Port Harcourt, NACETEM and PRODA. Dr. Okorhi is an AfricaLics Scholar in Innovation and Development in Africa. His academic prowess cut across policy research with strong scientific evidence to support policy formulation and decision making in the contexts of science, technology and innovation (STI) management, entrepreneurship, sustainability, environmental management, conservation of natural resources, etc. Dr. Okorhi has won grants, led research projects and authored several referenced papers in scholarly journals and conferences. He is well travelled and connected within the global networks in STI management.
