Dr Yoro Elizabeth Rume

I am Dr. (Mrs.) Rume Elizabeth Yoro, an academic and researcher specializing in cybersecurity and computer forensics. I currently serve as Head of the Department of Cybersecurity and Sub-Dean of the Faculty of Computing at Dennis Osadebay University, Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria.
I earned a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Benin, an M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Benin, and a PhD in Computer Science from Babcock University. My research interests include intelligent systems, intrusion detection, phishing mitigation, and machine learning applications in cybersecurity.
I have authored several peer-reviewed publications in reputable journals and conferences. I am passionate about mentoring students and advancing secure digital solutions in Nigeria and beyond. I remain committed to excellence in teaching, research, and the development of computing education.
