Dr Usiemure Christopher Oghenerioborue

Dr. Christopher Oghenerioborue Usiemure, is a dedicated and passionate academic staff member in the Department of History, Strategic and International Studies at Dennis Osadebay University. He holds a PhD in International Studies and Diplomacy as well as a Master’s degree (M.A.) in International Relations. He demonstrates a strong commitment to scholarly research and excellence in teaching.
Dr Christopher’s academic journey began with a keen interest in global affairs, diplomacy, and international politics. His academic pursuits led him to undertake advanced studies in International Relations, where he explored the complexities of international politics, International Law, conflict resolution, global governance, and international security. His doctoral training further strengthened his research capacity and deepened his expertise in these areas.
He brings both intellectual rigour and enthusiasm into the classroom. He is committed to fostering critical thinking, encouraging constructive dialogue and debate, and mentoring students to become informed global citizens and future leaders in the fields of History, diplomacy and International Studies.
In addition to his academic qualifications, Dr. Christopher O. U. has a background in journalism, having successfully completed an online certificate programme in Journalism. This experience enhances his communication skills and contributes to his interdisciplinary approach to teaching and research.
Dr. Christopher Oghenerioborue Usiemure envisions a future in which academia plays a pivotal role in addressing global challenges, promoting peace and mutual understanding among nations, and fostering a more interconnected and cooperative world. He remains committed to advancing research, delivering quality teaching, and contributing meaningfully to the university community and society at large.
