Dr Udinmwen Efosa
(SENIOR LECTURER)
Department of Geology

Dr. Efosa Udinmwen is a structural geologist with a specific interest in the structure and tectonics of the Nigerian basement complex. He holds a B.Sc in Geology, an M.Sc in Structural Geology/Tectonics, and a Ph.D. in Structural Geology/Mineral Exploration. While his research focuses on palaeostress and strain analysis, he also works on structural controls on mineralizations mostly in basement complexes. His current research is on the mineralization potentials of the pegmatites in Eastern Oban Massif, South Eastern Nigeria. At the moment, he has over 20 publications in peer-reviewed foreign, national, and faculty journals
