Dr Innocent Uzougbo Onwuegbuzie is an academic and the Head of Department (HoD) of Software Engineering, with specialties in software development, front-end and backend full stack engineering, cloud engineering, Dev Ops and data engineering, artificial intelligence and machine learning and cybersecurity. Other areas of his expertise also include computer networks, cybersecurity, the Internet of Things (IoT), 5G and 6G technologies. He has contributed to various research publications, including works on wireless sensor networks, federated learning, and pervasive computing. His academic contributions are well documented on platforms/databases like Web of Science, Google Scholar and ORCID.
