Mr Chris Ese ETEBEFIA
(ASSISTANT LECTURER)
Department of Applied Geophysics
I am Etebefia Chris, a geoscientist and lecturer with a background in Geology and Exploration Geophysics. I earned my first degree from Ebonyi State University (EBSU) and hold a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Geophysics.
My professional interests are in geophysical exploration, particularly in seismic methods, electrical and electromagnetic techniques, gravity and magnetic surveys, reservoir characterization, and near-surface geophysics. I am especially interested in the integration of geophysical data for hydrocarbon exploration, environmental studies, and engineering applications.
I work as a Lecturer in the Department of Applied Geophysics at Dennis Osadebay University (DOU), where I teach, mentor students, and contribute to research in applied geophysics, combining both theory and practical field experience.
I am married and have children.
