Mrs. Florence Ngozi Nweke

Mrs Florence Ngozi Nweke attended Ikelike Model Primary school Ogwashi-Uku for her primary education. Her secondary school education began from Saint Roses Girls’ Grammar School, Ogwashi-Uku and culminated at Asaba girls’ grammar School Asaba where she obtained her senior school certificate results in 1988. She had her first degree from the great University of Benin where she made a Second Class honours (upper) division from the Department of Geography and Regional Planning in 1994. Her NYSC was in Uyo Akwa Ibom State between 1994 and 1995. Mrs Nweke has a Master's degree in Public Administration obtained in 2012.
Between 1996 and 1999 she was a teacher at St Peters Junior Seminary Asaba where she impacted the future generation.

She began her career as a University Administrator on 1st March, 1999 as an Administrative Assistant in the then Asaba Campus of Delta State University, Abraka. She rose through the ranks and became a Principal Assistant Registrar in 2014.

In July 2018 she was appointed the substantive Registrar of Delta State Polytechnic Ogwashi-Uku for a 5-year tenure which she completed in July, 2023.
Mrs Nweke later moved onto the Admiralty University of Nigeria Ibusa as a Deputy Registrar where she served until she was appointed as the current substantive Registrar of Dennis Osadebay University, Asaba.
Mrs Nweke belong to several professional bodies such as the Association of Nigerian University Professional Administrators (ANUPA), Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM), Institute of Corporate Administration of Nigeria and A Fellow of the Institute of Policy Management Development.

Mrs Nweke as an astute administrator has mentored upcoming administrators through in-house training, workshops and conferences. She has served as a resource person in NBTE resource verification and accreditation exercise, as well as interviews for non-teaching staff of higher institutions.

Mrs Nweke is an ordained pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God and currently the Zonal Pastor of RCCG Overflowing Spring Zone, Asaba.
She is a public speaker at conferences and events and a recipient of so many awards .

Mrs Nweke is happily married to Dr Felix Uwazili Nweke and their marriage is blessed with children.
